Device Manager of V3.4 User Guide

Purpose

• This document provides instructions on how to apply a peripheral device in the Pick and Place module with "Device Manager" of V3.4.
• The Module "Device Manager" requires Module "Basic Devices."
• The drop-down menu for adding a peripheral device remains inactive without Module "Basic Devices."
• Since the reason for the menu inactivity is not displayed on the screen, this guide is provided to prevent user confusion.

1. Preparation

1. Install the "Basic Devices" and "Device Manager" from the Dart Store.

    

2. Check installed modules through Settings -> Data Manager -> Installed Module List.

 ※ On the Home screen, only the icons for modules that have a standalone entry screen are displayed. For the full list of installed modules, please check Settings → Data Manager → Installed Module List.

 ※ Both "Basic Devices" and "Device Manager" must be installed from the Dart Store.

2. The Pick and Place Module using the Device Manager

• Adding new devices

Step 1	Write the name of a peripheral device.
Step 2	Select the type of a peripheral device you want to use.
Step 3	It you complete steps 1 and 2, click the "+ Add Device."

• Setting the required value and condition

Step 4	Click the "Save" after setting the required value and condition.
Step 5	If the save process is completed successfully, you can check the saved device list. At this point, the type is entered as the main category of the item.

3. Application the Pick and Place Module in Task Editor

• Adding the Pick and Place Command in Task Editor

Step 6	The installation status of the Pick and Place module can be checked in the command window on the right side of the task editor. Feel free to add Pick of Place commands to your logic.
Step 7	Move to the property window and select the previously set device from the drop-down menu under pattern.
