System Faults When Picking a Box

The palletizer may stop while attempting to pick a box from the conveyor. Review the following to identify and resolve the issue:

Setup Validation

• Confirm that the box weight matches the recipe specifications. Boxes that are too light or too heavy can trigger robot faults.
• Ensure boxes are picked up from the correct center point to minimize unexpected forces.
• If multiple tools are available, verify that the tool selected in the recipe matches the tool physically mounted on the robot.

Troubleshooting Steps

• Ensure other boxes on the conveyor are not pushed against the box being picked, as this can cause unexpected side loads.
• If box heights are inconsistent, use the Pick Retries and Retry Distance parameters to allow the robot to attempt picks at multiple heights.
• If faults are related to excessive speed or acceleration, decrease the Carry Speed and Carry Accel settings in the recipe.
