Box Count Zeroed Incorrectly

If the box count resets unexpectedly, it is most likely due to the system incorrectly detecting a pallet change. Review the following to identify and resolve the issue.

Understanding Box Count Behavior

The HMI tracks box placement by incrementing the count as boxes are placed on the pallet. The system prevents the count from exceeding the total capacity defined by the current recipe. Note that switching recipes may reduce the maximum box count if the new recipe specifies fewer total boxes. When a pallet is removed, the count resets to zero in preparation for the next pallet.

Troubleshooting Steps

• Check all pallet present sensor connections.
• Verify the sensor is securely mounted and undamaged.
• Confirm the sensor activates and deactivates correctly.
• Check the secondary Modbus input module for a lost connection.
